It's been a very tiring summer! Not to mention I've done more things than I can actually remember. As of now, I'm really into the whole Seelie and Unseelie court stuff. The faeries are so fascinating - not to mention that they have a whole world of their own. I actually prefer the old versions of faeries instead of the modern winged ones. Apparently, there are vampiric faeries and faeries who have a gruesome sense of humour. Hm. But what I'm really curious about is Medb, Gyre Carlin and Gwynn. I can't find any fay-related gossip on them. Oh well...

To be honest, I'm not really keen on the idea of SOPA and PIPA being approved. I mean, several sites censor illegal content or remove them. The Internet is a free place, a haven for opinion...or something along those lines. I may not be American, but I use the Internet just as much (or maybe more) as they do. Many people benefit from the knowledge the Internet brings, and, if you don't want other people to make use of your work, then don't upload it. I mean, what's the purpose? I never freaking knew that turtles were so freaking hard to sketch, let alone draw. I tried it today, and I managed to make a halfway decent one. I wanted to try drawing something realistic or something with a naturalistic design. I copied it from an illustration in an arts book [the Usborne Pocket Artist]; it was demonstrating how to draw animals along with possible methods of coloring with various materials. I copied it but I just used graphite pencils, so it's just black and white. It's not a very neat sketch--I'm new to this style of drawing.
